Introduction

Hi everyone @LivingUKTaiwan with today's edition of the #traveldigest. #1 The Lake of Fairies - Saif-ul-Maluk Lake by lifeskills-tvHive account@lifeskills-tv

Lake Saif-ul-Malook is a mountainous lake that lies at the northern end of the Kaghan Valley near Naran. It seems like heaven on earth. The lake has crystal clear freezing water and is surrounded by glaciers and highest mountain of the area Malika Parbat having 5,290 metres height. Saif-ul-Malook lake is the highest lake of Pakistan at an altitude of 3,224 meters above sea level. According to a legend Fairies dance above the water surface on the 14th night of every lunar month.

#2 California Mountain Adventures - Winter Climb on the North Backbone by derekrichardsonHive account@derekrichardson

I worked my way up the steep ridgeline to the summit of Pine mountain. The views were spectacular in every direction! Since it was still relatively early I decided to head for Dawson peak as well. It's a big drop/climb between the two peaks, but it's nothing compared to the massive gap between Dawson and Baldy. There were some big snowdrifts on the way up Dawson. It was like hiking over giant snow waves, up and down and up and down. The views from the summit of Dawson were awesome, but I think Pine mountain really has the best views.

#3 Pigeon Key, Under Seven Mile Bridge. by greddyforceHive account@greddyforce

Our first Air BnB for the first 5 nights was on Miami Beach and from there to the Florida keys is over 3 hours drive and we also wanted to make it back to the Everglades the same day. So on that morning, we woke up very early to start driving at sunrise. The destination was a very small island of Pigeon Key.The island is no longer accessible by car because the old seven-mile bridge is long closed to the public, instead, there is now a new seven-mile bridge but that passes the pigeon key. So we drove to the Marathon key and bought a tour to get on this island. Its cheap, costs only 10 dollars.
