Manjeet is our man in Delhi. We are given his number by my yoga teacher, and are grateful to have him as our friend and guide. He sends us a text of roses every morning and asks if he can be of service. And he provides a wonderful service, taking us to many places that the backpackers of Paharganj miss as they transit in and out of Delhi. He does not take us to the places he could earn a commission, because we are friends of someone in Australia he knows well. He has a kind heart.

#2 Glogensky monastery in Lovech by Hive account@varya-davydova

This is a Bulgarian monastery with Russian roots! It is located in an unusually beautiful place - only about a hundred kilometers from Sofia in the direction of Lovech, in the Teteven community on the slope of Mount Lisets. And although there are a lot of such beautiful places in Bulgaria, Glogene is already unusual in that, according to legend, it was founded by the Russian prince Glogy, who fled from the Tatar-Mongol yoke in the distant 13th century, to Bulgaria.

It is amazing traveling sets you free from some invisible chains that encapture us in our everyday life. On the other hand, it might be more like an illusion. Those chains are so-called egregors that wait for us till we get back and once you do - imprison us once again. However, it is always nice to feel the absence of excessive weight on your shoulders at least for a little while...
