Why do single women like cats so much?
Definitely a stereotype based on the "crazy cat lady" stigma for single ladies. I'm a woman and I'm allergic to cats so I have dogs instead but not everyone even likes pets or can tolerate having a pet full time. Many of my friends don't have pets because they work too many hours and just don't have the time to spend with their pet.
