I try to not make emotional decisions either and choose to employ logic most of the time. Sometimes, using emotion to make some decisions can be helpful, though. For one, choosing a romantic partner is usually done at least a little bit with emotional reaction, right? And a lot of businesses have been born out of desperation because people were emotionally tied to being able to provide for themselves and their families. So, I think that using some emotion to make decisions is reasonable but should not be the primary basis for your decisions.
