¿Para ti qué es la religión y cómo influye en las personas?

La religión es una forma de adorar a Dios, nuestro Creador. En mi caso la adoración verdadera debe estar basada en la Biblia, correctamente interpretada. Ella nos conduce a la verdad y nos acerca a Dios, conocemos su nombre, Jehová, y sus propósitos. Un estudio por temas es lo más recomendable para entender la Biblia y su relación con el tema principal de las Escrituras: la vindicación y santificación de su nombre y soberanía. No basta con decir que somos cristianos, para ser verdaderos seguidores de Cristo tenemos que cumplir sus mandamientos.

La religión verdadera hace que las personas saquen lo mejor de ellas mismas, ya que aprender a cultivar y reflejar las cualidades divinas como el amor, la justicia y la sabiduría, sobre todo el amor, puesto que la Biblia dice en 1Juan 4:8 y 16 "Dios es amor", así que nosotros debemos imitar ese amor, que la Palabra de Dios identifica con la palabra griega agape, que es un amor altruista, basado en principios y no en sentimentalismo.

Al contrario, la religión falsa saca lo peor de las personas, por eso vemos en el mundo tanto odio, tanta maldad, guerras, enfrentamientos de todo tipo y violencia. Hay quienes dicen servir a Dios, pero por sus obras lo repudian, son hipócritas y mentirosos.
