Small Power Up, Big Commitment | HPUD August 1, 2026

Hello everyone, today is August 1, 2026 and it's HPUD day. I decided to join Hive Power Up Day (HPUD), and it feels great to be part of it. For my first HPUD, I decided to power up 10 HIVE and other than that recently I have decided to power up 1 Hive everyday. So, I hope it sounds good now. Some people may think 10 HIVE is not a big amount but I chose that because I wanted to start with an amount that I know I can realistically continue every month. Because consistency is much more valuable than making one big power-up and then stopping. I just wanted to make this a habit of mine, so that whenever I login to Hive I just want to Power Up first. I think this habit of mine will be stronger than a single large step.

We shouldn't focus on the number that much but be consistent. The number of people who power up is very less. There are many users who haven't powered up for months or years so I think that something is better than nothing at all. Today I am making a promise to myself that I will not stop building my account. I have seen people stopped posting because of the low price of Hive but I think we should care about Hive more than rewards. If you enjoy writing blogs then these things shouldn't matter because it's not a place for earning money only. Back to HPUD so I was saying that the progress looks slow today but I believe I can make a progress faster in the future if I continue to do it.

The reason I thought of power up was because I think it's a great way to show that we believe in the future of this community. That is one of the reasons I wanted to participate in HPUD instead of simply holding liquid HIVE. So, far I think I have been an active member of the ecosystem.

I have staked 11 Hive and I was busy all day so I couldn't make a post earlier. As you can see, I have powered up long ago.

My goal is to reach 1000 HP before the end of this month.

If you have never participated in HPUD before, don't feel pressured to power up a huge amount. All you need to do is start it can be with 5 HIVE, 10 HIVE, or whatever you can comfortably afford is a meaningful contribution. Just take the first step and stay consistent. I think 1 HIVE is also fine as long as you give something it matters and it's better than a zero.

I also think HPUD is a fun monthly reminder to invest in ourselves. You can also get a badge for the power up all you need to do is not to power down after participating. I am not going to power down for the next 1-2 months so I think this is going to be easier for me. Everyone will receive the badge in the end of the month.

This is my first Hive Power Up Day, and I hope it becomes a monthly tradition for me. I hope we start to grow Hive again and not stop writing. This is the best time to grow our account and not quit.

If you haven't joined HPUD yet, maybe this is the sign, as you have found my post. Don't worry the progress isn't measured by how big is your first step, it's measured by whether you keep moving forward.

Happy HPUD and happy powering up!
