Hello people of the Splinterlands community! I hope you are all doing alright. I am also doing great, specially today, my luck has been going so well, I don't know how but it is happening for real. You might be wondering how? Well, my journey in Splinterlands continues to be full of learning exciting tactical adjustments. Today, I’m super excited to share a battle that officially pushed me into Silver III and helped me gain some epic cards.

Elements: (death, water, earth) locked

My Team

44 Mana is high enough to use my new favourite element Fire. As you can see death, water, earth is already locked and I didn't have many options to choose from. So, I wanted to use my usual heavy hitting lineup. I didn't have many plans for it, but I had already decided what I am going to do.

Summoner

Barthalamas (Level 1,all friendly units have +1 Speed)

He has been doing a great job, so I couldn't think of choosing the dragon element which I am not so familiar with.

1st Position – Frankarsgard (Level 1)

2nd Position – Chaos Furibringer (Level 1)

3rd Position – Vengeful Monk (Level 1)

4th Position – Great Bear Druid (Level 1)

5th Position – Ash Archer (Level 1)

6th Position – Grand Consul Minion (Level 1)

Last time I had used Kanaaq Miner but this time I decided to have Grand Consul Minion instead, for the 6th position.

My enemy's Team

My enemy is RAGASH (who has no guild just like me), he entered with the rating of 860 which was lower than me. To my surprise he also choose fire element and with a very similar Fire lineup. What was the difference between our lineup? Well he had chosen Sturdy Axe Warden and Kanaaq Miner, also the placement seemed wrong. Maybe he doesn't play with fire element much. But his Frontline was similar to mine. This match was going to come down strictly to placement and targeting efficiency.

How the Battle Went

Round 1–2 Both sides came out swinging with the +1 Speed buff active. The frontlines traded massive blows, with both Frankarsgard units taking heavy damage. Our cards were getting eliminated in similar way and it was a thrilling match. In round 3–4 My middle and backline attackers began focusing down the enemy units one by one. Strategic positioning allowed my Bear Druid and ranged units to sustain their output while my Vengeful Monk and Ash Archer cleared it out. Then in round 5 by the final round, my remaining three cards broke through their last defenses and secured a decisive Victory.

My Rewards

After I won the match, I saw that I have got myself +20 Rating Points, now my ratings are 1,060! This milestone officially unlocked Silver III tier. I didn't realize when I have ranked up because I was too focused on winning the matches.

Reaching Silver III unlocked 15 Silver III Loot Chests and they were absolutely fruitful! Here is what I pulled from my recent rewards:

Vaelok (Rare Dragon Card)

Can't believe I've a free card from the daily spin wheel, it was the best way to start the game. I could already tell that my luck was going to be good today.

Then, I have got those cards from the 15x chest reward. Which are:

Asel Alagosdil(epic), Nim Guard Captain, Wilhelmdate Deputy, Mad Gearhead, Colossus Raider and some energies.

I have got these cards from the 5 winning match rewards: New Beluroc Aegis, Saltwater Mage(Epic), Kicking Roc(epic)

However, I have achieved multiple Epic cards today, such as (Asel Alagosdil, Saltwater Mage and Kicking Roc) along with the Rare Vaelok felt huge! Didn't know that I was going to get all at once. Felt like I'm being rewarded for good deeds.

Looking Ahead

To be honest, I am happy that I could rank up to Silver III with a 1,060 rating is a massive milestone in my Splinterlands journey. Finally I have left the tier of Bronze and stepping into Silver opens up even better rewards and tougher challenges. Hopefully, I can make through it. My next aim is
to reach Silver II. Meanwhile I want to master more elements and learn about them, also maintain a solid position in Silver as the season progresses. Even though I am not a professional gamer and it's my first time playing card games so pardon my mistakes.
