"Exploring the birthplace of the renowned poet Andres Eloy Blanco is an activity to which I devoted a considerable amount of time, as there are many rooms to explore and a wide variety of documents and photographs that chronicle the history of this humanist from Sucre. Upon leaving the kitchen area, we came across several images of the poet and his family—black-and-white portraits that capture the elegance characteristic of that era, when a professional photographer would search for the best angle to immortalize the moment."

A Satisfying Hakka Yong Tau Foo Dinner in Springleaf

"For me, Yong Tau Foo is one of those dishes that can easily satisfy a big hunger. It has a nice mixture of tofu, vegetables, fish balls, and other ingredients, all covered in a thick and flavorful sauce. The version served here looked especially generous, with everything sitting on a big bed of kang kong, also known as morning glory."

"First, my aunt picked up my other aunt and my father’s sister, and then we all went to the park together. It was Saturday, so the area was already a little busy. We could not find a parking space close to the entrance, and we had to leave the car farther away. This was not a problem because the weather was beautiful and we enjoyed walking slowly together."
