"After a full day on the trains yesterday was a day to take things a bit easier. Made a big dent in the options expiry accounting. No grandson visit today - he was with his Dad yesterday"

"This week I pray for grace, peace and greater accomplishments on whatever we lay our hands to do. Today, it is with so much joy that I will be sharing with you the making of ladies hand purse with the combination of two colors of fabric and I'm sure you will like the beautiful outcome."

"Early this morning, around 2:00 AM, I woke up in my bed and felt thirsty, so I stood up and walked to the kitchen of my house with the intention of drinking a glass of water. Two of our cats followed me to the kitchen, perhaps thinking that they could convince me to put some cat kibble in their bowls at that hour; I always do that despite the fact that my wife has expressly forbidden feeding them outside the established schedules, but I like to indulge their cravings and my cats know it perfectly well."

"Warm weather, I gave myself a little break to rest from both gardening and writing. We enjoy the pool, we have fenced it off a bit with a tarp and a shade net to prevent unwanted views. We brought a bench, plastic chairs, and almost an outdoor living room."

"This is a spot they call Sandy Beach; it's not really very sandy, and maybe the name is from a time when it was. Nature can seem a little bland in the early spring with no leaves on the trees and very little green. I think it's the perfect time for monochrome. There is a certain moodiness that seems to present very well once the less colourful landscapes are changed into some devoid of colour, and it's definitely something I think of when I go out after the snow has melted."

"While I am well aware that part of my inspiration for writing this post is purely related to the fact that I was born and lived in a pre-internet and pre-smartphone time, there are certain things about the inevitable march of technology that make absolutely no sense to me."
