I won again :) this time in Izola at 5th Istrski marathon. They call it marathon with the sea view and course is really beautiful. You have three different distances - 8.4 km, half marathon and marathon. Both marathon and half marathon have officially measured and certificated courses.

I ran at the shortest course and won with time 28:49 (full results). That was 3:26 per kilometer, which is nice :) Particularly because we went climbing day before and in the evening we drank couple of beers. That was fine, but another two gin tonics were not necessary :)

But in the end we all ran very good. Do you remember Žiga from my previous post? This time he ran halfmarathon even faster and broke his personal best (1;22:19).

In less than a month I won three races on Slovenian seaside. Wow, that was so not expected. I am now just a running coach of my group of recreational runners and have no goals or intensions in winning races. But wherever we go, I also like to compete myself.

Weather was perfect, sunny with temperatures around 12-15°C, so conditions were great. It was the same day before, so our weekend was awesome and very successful. Our running group GiBit can't wait for next challenge :)
