Running guru: second race, second win ... this time totally unexpected (5)

In Slovenia we have 5 to 6 major running events. Last weekend it was the first of the year 2018. We may call it spring classic. It took place in Sežana, near border with Italy. Actually part of halfmarathon route goes through Italy, but start and finish are in Slovenia. Part of the course is also through Lipica, famous for Lipizzan horses.

I participated in shorter race (10,4 km) and took totally unexpected win. My time was 36:05 (complete results), which is nothing special, but it is ok regarding how the winter was, which did not allow us to train much.

I was again very satisfied with my runners, especially with those running half marathon. One of them ran his second best time (1;26:34) and one even broke his personal best. And we only started the season. I look forward to next races, I have a feeling, that these guys can surprise me even more.
