Spicy Chiken Meatballs
Hi bloggers and food lovers! I’m back with another spicy dish that’s perfect for those who love spicy food. Today, I’m making chicken meatballs for a savory and spicy lunch, using plenty of caplak chili peppers, a type of spicy Indonesian chili. Okay, let’s get right to it
Ingredients:
- 100 grams caplak chili peppers
- 100 grams homemade chicken meatballs
- 3 cloves garlic
- 3 shallots
- cooking oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 3 tbsp sweet soy sauce
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp oyster sauce
- 50 ml of water
Steps:
- Prepare the ground chicken meatball mixture ( if you need the recipe I'll write it on another day)
- Shape the mixture into small balls
- Drop them into boiling water
- When the meatballs start to float, remove them and set aside
- Place the caplak chili peppers, shallots and garlic cloves into a food processor
- Turn on the food processor and blend all the ingredients until smooth
- Heat cooking oil in a pan
- Add the chili peppers to the pan and sauté until cooked
- Add the water and chicken meatballs to the pan
- Add sweet soy sauce, sugar, salt, and oyster sauce
- Stir until well combined
- Remove from heat and serve
- Spicy chicken meatballs are ready to be enjoyed with warm rice
