Eggplant Rolls
Hi bloggers and food lovers, happy holidays. Do you like eggplant? Today I’m going to share a delicious way to enjoy eggplant that’s perfect for lunch or dinner—it’s easy to make and has a meaty, spicy, and yummy flavor. Alright, let’s get started
Ingredients:
Ingredients for the eggplant rolls:
- 300 grams ground beef
- 3 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 scallion
- 1/2 tsp sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 2 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 egg white
- 2 eggplants
- 4 tbsp all-purpose flour
- water as needed
- cooking oil
Sauce ingredients:
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp sweet soy sauce
- 1 tbsp chili flakes
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- sesame seeds
- 50 ml water
Instructions:
*The eggplant rolls *
- Prepare the meat and place it in a food processor
- Turn on the food processor and blend the meat until smooth
- Add chopped green onions
- Add cornstarch, garlic powder, sugar, salt, pepper, and oyster sauce
- Crack 1 egg and add the egg white to the food processor
- Mix until well combined
- Prepare the eggplant and wash it thoroughly
- Slice the eggplant thinly
- Spread the meat mixture on top of an eggplant slice
- Roll the eggplant up like this
- Repeat until all the mixture is used up
- Steam the rolled eggplant for 20 minutes
- After steaming, coat the rolled eggplant with a mixture of all-purpose flour and water and dip them into it
- Place them in a pan with preheated oil
Fry over medium heat until cooked through and golden brown
Remove and drain
Sauce:
- Place all the ingredients in a pan
Add water
Stir until the sauce is well combined
Add sesame seeds
- Once it comes to a boil, add the beef-stuffed eggplant rolls
- Cook until the sauce has reduce
- Turn off the heat and serve on a plate
- The eggplant rolls are ready to eat
