Creamy Spicy Chicken
Hi food lovers and bloggers. Today I'm going to share my favorite recipe lately, and this is my entry for @qurator's contest this week: Qurator's Hive Top Chef! : Creamy Spicy Chicken. Crispy chicken coated in a delicious creamy spicy sauce is my favorite dish this week. Okay, let's get started.
Ingredients:
- 400 gr chicken breast
- 1 package of all-purpose flour
- salt
- garlic powder
- vegetable oil
- 1 tbsp butter
- 3 cloves of garlic
- 1/2 onion
- 1 tbsp flour
- 1 tbsp chili powder
- oregano
- black pepper
- white pepper
- cooking cream/milk
- cheese
Steps:
- Clean the chicken breast thoroughly.
- Sprinkle salt and black pepper over the chicken to enhance the flavor. Let it marinate in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
- While waiting for the chicken, chop the garlic and onion and set aside.
- Prepare all-purpose flour and then add garlic powder on a plate and a plate of water.
Dip the chicken breast in the all-purpose flour, then dip it in the water and repeat twice so that the flour sticks.
Prepare a pan and heat the oil.
- Once hot, pan fry the chicken until cooked then remove and set aside.
- Set aside the oil used for frying the chicken, then heat the butter until melted.
- Add the chopped garlic and sauté until fragrant, then add the onion and cook until fragrant.
- Add chili powder, black pepper, white pepper, and oregano, then stir well.
- Add 1 tablespoon of flour.
- Stir briefly until combined.
- Add 250 ml of milk.
Stir until the ingredients are mixed, then add the cheese.
Adjust the seasoning.
- Add the chicken breast and baste the chicken with the sauce.
- Serve on a plate.
- The spicy creamy chicken is ready to eat.
