Pica wallet update!

On february 5th 2026, PlatON Network released a medium update relating to Pica Wallet and it seems, launch might just be any moment from now?

The update reads below,

The development of the PICA wallet is ongoing and is expected to officially launch by the end of February. This wallet is positioned as an on-chain bank system and will provide core features such as multi-chain stablecoin payments, PlatON stablecoin transactions, and cash transactions for stablecoins at offline stores.

The above is coming weeks after our previous writeup relating to Pica Wallet and how it was coming to be the next new/trending topic on PlatON Network. We talked a bit extensively on it's usage and applications from a stablecoin payment system that would allow cross-chain deposit of stable assets to stable coin payment completion without the use of cards or online banking system.

The new update re-iterate what we knew but this time with a bit of timeline on when launch is expected.

Going by the latest update, this is what we now know, pica wallet would

Support multi-chain stablecoin payments, been able to send and receive stablecoins across different blockchain networks

PlatON stablecoin transactions, specifically supports transactions using PlatON's stablecoin and likely use PlatON Network to offer cheap transactions.

Offline cash transactions, users will be able to convert stablecoins to cash at physical stores, no need for cards or online banking

Going by the above, pica wallet is basically a digital wallet that bridges crypto and traditional cash, which makes stablecoin transactions more accessible directly from your mobile or any other supported device.
