Zapfic story contest : Smash
"Ella, smash the pot and run to the house" was the last thing Ella heard before she found her mother lying lifelessness on the floor.
Five years later, it still tormented her that she couldn't save her mother by smashing the pot as instructed.
This short story is my entry to Zapfic 240 characters or less story write with the prompt "smash"
