Fog - A Mesmerizing Shield
Fog
A secluded field that's been long forgotten
No memories to be made there
People here slumber, but their bodies are rotten
Deep underground, they have a story that they share
One shadowy night
The moon shines bright
Young souls walked into the beckoning fog in their sight
Surrounding them they couldn't see
The man hiding beneath their feet
They couldn't scream
They couldn't shout
Now they lay
Parts strewn about
The years have gone
And all that's left
Is the misty fog
To cover up their torturous past
