Does Necessity Really Drive Invention?
Technology has evolved so much over time. Gone were the days when we had to climb trees just to place a call. Today, with the tap of our phones, we are able to talk to whoever we want from any part of the world and in the comfort of our homes. This didn’t just happen in a blink of an eye. It’s because someone or a group of people decided they didn’t want to settle. Humans always want the best for themselves but the difference is that some of us take the step to get what we want while others daydream and hope for things to get better.
However, we know that it’s those who put in the world that will win and have their breakthrough. They are those that get their names on billboards and chair in the big rooms and those who did nothing but daydream will be left to pay for the comfort they were being offered by someone who sacrificed their life to give them what they didn’t have to suffer for.
Life is about supply and demand and as far as you find a way to solve someone’s problems, you will forever be in business. I don’t think technology would have gotten to this stage is we were just content with what we had. We as humans always want more and better because we tend to get fed up of old things. Until when will we keep using black and white television, pinhole cameras and all of that. Something had to be done about it and something was done.
Most of the things we have today, we needed them. I’m sure someone was tired of of hand drying their hair all the time they had to think of a way to come up with a hand dryer. Someone somewhere might have also been tired of having to hand wash their dishes and utensils all the time so they decided to invent a dishwashing machine. I don’t know what you may be needing, but you can also invent it and make the world better for us all.
This is a revolution we have all needed and have been waiting for all our lives. Thank to these developments, life has been made easier and safer for all of us in various ways. I don’t know about you, but I’m glad that some people were craving so much for more they took the step to build all the technology I have access to today. The world will keep growing because people will never stop exploring. That’s the beauty of being human. Hopefully , technology keep advancing for the benefit of us all.
