Can We Ever Truly Repay Those Who Save Lives?
It’s not very delightful seeing someone of these disasters occurring and my heart really goes rout to Venezuelans given the recent events in their country. Honestly, we as a people can never be always prepared for such occurrences but things do happen and we have to live through it. As a health professional, I really understand how demanding such situations can be. Given the level of damage and lives at risk.
Health professionals are working day and night to keep everyone alive, that’s the main goal in times like this and the one way we can help these people out there risking their lives to save others is to provide them with adequate resources to be able to cater for those injured. Life is as fickle as it comes, but saving as many lives as possible in these instances is a must for us.
If I had the opportunity, the one thing I will do for those out there constantly saving lives and providing first aid in these times is to reward them adequately. We all have problems in our lives but leaving everything we have behind to save others is a Godly act which deserves the maximum respect and appreciation whether you are a health professional or not. That’s the least we can do for those risking their lives on the daily basis because there’s nothing we can do that will fully be a representation of what they have done for others.
My best wishes goes out to the Venezuelans and i hope and pray that things do get better and everyone is safe at the end of the day.
