Elaine (James Rustic)
As the boat slowly drifts away,
I can still recall her
Sweet voice softly say,
“Why is this happening to me, sir?”
And I cannot find
The words to tell her
That where she lands
She will stay forever.
And as we sail into the darkness,
I know someone just caught their last glimpse,
Of a woman that can never be replaced
And of a love that will always be missed.
