Description of a Muse (James Rustic)

She holds more beauty than exists anywhere on this Earth,

With long, flowing locks in a striking shade of brown,
Covered in fragrant perfumes where desires often drown;
I am caught in the seductive glare of her eyes of familiar tint to her hair
That falls and protects the complexion of her skin, so soft and fair;

Many a time I have seen men observe, chase, and follow,
Lusting after her beauty with perverted intentions, forever hollow,
Void of any true feelings or emotions for my enchanted Muse
Whom, strong in her wit, does not stand for their abuse;

As she parades around, if only to tempt and unfairly tease,
Other men watch from afar with splendor, all of them at ease
As my spiteful, jealous emotions again draw me in too close
That not until it ends may this lust for her have time for repose;

And for her love, my soul will wait until after I exhale my final breath.
