If I could go back 5 years, I would do this differently

If I had the chance to go back five years, I don’t think I would try to change everything about my life.
Some mistakes were necessary. Some experiences helped me understand things I wouldn’t have learned any other way.

But there are still a few things I would do differently without thinking twice.
First, I would take things more serious earlier.
Not in a way that adds pressure, but I wouldn’t be so relaxed about time. Back then, it always felt like there was enough time to figure things out later.
I delayed things a lot. Ideas, plans, even small actions that could have made a difference.
Looking back now, I just realized that those small delays that happened in my life added up.
Another thing I would change is how I spent my time daily.

There were moments I used on things that didn’t really add value. It felt normal at that time, just passing time, but now I see it differently.
Even if I had spent just one hour a day learning something useful or building something small, the results would have been clear by now.
That’s one thing I don’t ignore anymore.
Consistency is another big one.

I used to start things and stop halfway. Not because I didn’t have the ability to continue, but because I wasn’t seeing results fast enough.
So I would lose interest and move on to something else. That cycle repeated itself more times than I can count. Now I understand that results don’t come fast most of the time.

If I had stayed consistent with even one thing for those five years, just one, I would be in a completely different position right now. But I don’t dwell too much on it. Because thinking about the past too much won’t change anything. What matters is what I do now with what I’ve learned.

I can’t go back five years, but I can decide how the next five years will look. And that alone is enough reason to take things more serious now.
