NYSC Wrap up Day '16'
Day 16 04/05
Hi Steemians. How are you doing? How's the month of May going? It's been a good month so far. SBD has been growing in its little way too. 😃
Yesterday was fun. There was usual morning devotion and medication. We spoke about obedience and it inspired us.
There was lectures and finally our SAED lectures. We had the final class and we did a DC powering.
We got modules from the company (solar affairs), DC load(our inverter), charge controller and 2V battery.
We connected the modules in parallel to the charge controller, connected the DC load to the battery and finally the battery to the charge controller. We checked if the sun was enough to power us. It was! Leggo.
We put the DC load on and we had light almost immediately. We plugged a phone and charged. This is actually getting interesting. It took us as a group about 15 minutes but we were glad we made it work.
We took a lot of caution too in order to prevent sparks and shock. Yesterday ended with the popular miss NYSC and Mr Macho contest. My platoon came 4th while platoon 3 won the Mr macho and platoon 10 won miss NYSC.
