NYSC Day '14'
Day 14 02/05
Hi everyone, thanks for your usual support.
Today, I'd like to take the NYSC anthem before I carry on with anything. There's so much respect here for the program that an anthem was composed for it. The anthem has about 3 stanzas with the one with the most importance been on the 2nd stanza.
It goes this way.
'Youth obey the clarion call
Let us lift our nation high
Under the sun or in the rain
With dedication and selflessness
Nigeria's ours, Nigeria we serve'.
This song is a song of promise filled with lines that must build this Nation. The line that amuses everyone is the 3rd line which says 'under the sun or in the rain'. We have had rainfall twice and also left immediately for the multipurpose hall to seek shelter. We defied the amthem. 😂😂
Yesterday was inspiration day as well. We had top guys in the industry come around to spur us more. Persons like Abiodun Folawiyo, Niyi Adewale and some others came to inspire us. We had MC Bash in attendance who also thrilled us with hilarious jokes. I laughed hard yesterday mehn! It was pure fun.
Coming back from the afternoon session, we rested for a few hours and then set out for our various activities once again. I joined my Man'O war. Night time came and I set out to watch CL's match. It was an interesting match where Roma won Liverpool 4-2 and the aggregate was Liverpool 7 VS Roma 6. It wasn't enough for the Italian club. Who cares anyway? Liverpool won and they have made English football proud!.
