I choose relationships

I think as humans, we have the innate desire for companionship. We are naturally social. We crave companions.
Staying single and being in a relationship both have their pros and cons.

Being single means you have time to yourself. You get to do what you want and not be accountable to anyone. Usually, the financial burdens are lesser when you're single. You just have to spend on just yourself. You're not necessarily obligated to spend on another person.

But then, being single can be lonely. There could be times when you just want someone to talk to. Someone to be vulnerable with. Someone to be there for you. That's where a relationship comes in.

This takes us to the pros of relationships. Relationships bring a lot. For starters, it brings companionship like I stated before. It feels good having someone you can go through life with. Someone to share the good and the bad times with. What's the need having wins when there's nobody to share those wins with. Having the right partner makes life easy. You just want to go home to them or talk to them after a hard day.
This is why I'll choose being in a relationship over being single. It's not as if being single is bad, but I'd rather have the privilege of someone special in my life.

Life is too stressful to go through it alone. There are times when one would need emotional support from a lover. Not just emotional support, but physical and moral support. There's just something about having someone who has your back and is very much in love in with you.

I know that there are disadvantages of relationships like cheating. Cheating can cause the worst heartbreak. It can make you give up on love. Being betrayed by your partner is never an easy thing to bear. Also, there's the possibility of quarrels in the relationship, there could be manipulations as well. Despite all of these, I still believe relationships are worth it when done right.

We shouldn't give up on love just because our love can be taken for granted. A partner can transform your life just by being in it. That's why for me, it's not just about being in a relationship, it's about being in a relationship with the right person.
