Making Santan Bracelets: A Fun Day at Mom’s Garden
We spent a wonderful day at my parents’ house recently.
While we were there, the kids were busy running and playing outside.
One thing that caught their attention was these bright red santan flowers growing in my mom’s garden.
When my siblings and I were little, we used to make all sorts of things out of santan... We make bracelets, necklaces, and even flower crowns.
So that morning, I decided to teach the kids how to do it too.
It was so easy and fun.
After making it, they tried wearing it.
It’s just a simple game, but it gives so much joy... just like when I was their age. 😍🫶
Also while walking around the garden, we noticed my mom’s pineapple plant.
It had two new fruits growing! 😍
They look healthy, though still small and not yet ready to harvest.
After enjoying the garden sights, we went inside to prepare for lunch. There was plenty to prepare like fried fish, mango salad, and chicken tinola.
We sat down together and shared the meal.
And that was our day... simple and filled with happy moments. 💛
Until my next memories...
Thanks for the visit! Have a lovely day. Buh-bye. 💗🌸
