Bogomoljka - Praying mantis - Mantis religiosa

Although this little guy looks dangerous, he is completely harmless to humans, he has no poison and can't sting us. But you've probably all heard the story of the female praying mantis eating the male after mating. But that's not a common case either, about a quarter of males end up like that.

The praying mantis is a voracious predator that is very useful to humans. It feeds on mosquitoes, flies, grasshoppers and plant pests.
I was having coffee with a friend, we were sitting on the terrace and then I noticed a praying mantis.

I didn't want to be rude, but I had to take a few pictures. The praying mantis is not seen every day. Although they say its population is increasing in our area due to warm summers and mild winters
