Nobody likes to suffer, but nobody is exempt from suffering. Suffering prepares and perfects us in various ways, trials come regardless of who we are or what we do. The external pressure increases the internal pressure, we feel that the darkness takes time to dissipate, the pain increases, and the disappointment continues indefinitely.
(Joel 1:19) “To you, O Jehovah, I cry; for fire has consumed the pastures of the desert, and flame has scorched all the trees of the field. "

The Lord teaches us that believers must fight in the spiritual field not giving in to increasing pressures. We can deactivate them by putting them on God's altar and letting Him take care of healing our wounds.
Sometimes we suffer tests that go beyond our ability to control, they show us that we are simply not omnipotent but God is.

Suffering makes us aware of our need for God and his external wisdom that exceeds ours.
