Many Christians see obedience as a requirement to avoid the consequences of disobedience, making it a burden, and they don't stop to think that obedience is the way to blessings.

Our Heavenly Father has always wanted our walk with Him, not by obligation or force, He wants us to live a great adventure fueled by our love for Jesus Christ. To obey is to express our love for God and our trust, not to avoid the unpleasant consequences of disobedience.
(1 John 5: 3) This is the love of God that we keep his commandments; and his commandments are not burdensome.
When we place our trust in the Lord and act as directed, life takes on meaning and purpose. When we keep our minds focused on the Lord, we begin to understand the importance of our decisions and how He guides us through the adventure of following the path of His will, and this understanding enables us to live a fulfilling life with perfect purpose. for our life and the Lord takes that opportunity to demonstrate his amazing power in him.
