Genesis 6: 7 “and the Lord said, I will wipe out the men whom I have created from off the face of the earth, from man to beast, and even to the reptile and the birds of the sky; Well, I regret having done them. "
The Lord repented of creating man and speaks the word that hurt him in his heart, because the wickedness of men was great on earth, and the thoughts of his heart were directed to evil.
But there was a man named Noah who found grace in the eyes of God, and whom he commissioned to make an ark because it would destroy all living beings with a great flood, nothing made us think that a storm was approaching. However, because Noah believed God, he prepared for the flood that God promised.
Obedience is the cornerstone of our faith in God. Just as Noah's obedience brought them God's blessing and reward.
Just as Noah's faith saved him and his family, so our faith saves us today.
The construction of the ark did not bring Noah closer to God, but his obedience and his faith.
Remembering that we are not saved by our faith not by works, but faith must be accompanied by obedience.
