I Finally Got Into Vibe Coding!

I've known vibe coding for a while now but never really have the time to actually do it. I was familiar with #nocode movement but my brain was divided between making ends meet, paying my debt, bills and focus on survival. So, there was no way for me to think about anything else up until recently. I've managed to remove almost 60% of my responsibilities and I have more reason to build something.And thanks to Hive account@acidyo for inspiring me to start looking into vibe coding again 😄 I saw how he did scrobble and it looks pretty neat!

This time though, my focus is creating something for my students to learn English. Yes, there is duolingo and I know there are many apps catered to that. This year, I had the experience working for an Edu Tech company from Japan and through that, made me realize something is possible. Though for now, this is a fun/hobby project.

It all starts with the idea that I want to gamify my students' learning journey. I am a sucker for strategy and town building games. So, this is where the idea " Build your city by learning English!" and I am calling it LEXIS TOWN a playword for "lexicon".

I also have nieces and nephews who will find this app useful. So, I am pretty excited for it. I have counted the cost and to have this run in a year is still affordable for me. The subscription is around 20$/month and around $240 yearly subscription which will be enough if I secure a project and work a little harder this fall 😄 so finger crossed!

I definitely have a lot to work on and brain storm considering that I now have students who will use the website. But it's addictive, I think and if you want to learn Bahasa Indonesia, I guess it could work since this is mostly Indonesian-English And English- Bahasa Indonesia.

There's definitely a lot to learn considering my classes started this Fall but hey, this is exciting and I prefer to work on something exciting. Will have to write the update whenever I can.
