JAKARTA-JOGJA DIARY

Last week, I had a quite experience visiting multiple cities and in doing so, I also tried several dishes that are famous there. Most of the places I visited were humble but they were local's favorites.

The first place I visited was a place called Nasi Uduk Kebon Kacang. I would rate it 8/10 for the novel experience trying meal with peanut sauce. If you're traveling to Jakarta, I'd recommend it. The place is also pretty clean.

These days, I don't take pictures of my meal anymore. I also less focus on documenting them because the energy around me have been all over the place. So, I am less becoming a "creator" mode but more like someone who simply enjoys it all.

Right after Jakarta, I visited Jogja, my favorite city in Indonesia. It has everything we need in a small circle. Apparently my favorite starbucks has now been replaced with a newer coffee shop. This giant cat here is now the latest craze in the city. But that time, I actually go to JCO because it's what was available and convenient.

At the same time, these days, my courses is picking up and I have less time to do a lot of things. Even on weekends, I need to teach sometime from 4 PM to 9 PM. So, it's why I simply look for a quick place to sit down, have some coffee and open my laptop to conduct my course.

Still, I am fairly excited that this weekend, I can finally enjoy a time to Jogjakarta as a traveler rather just someone who passes by the place to get to the next city/destination.
