Somewhere Between Stations
I have no idea where I'll go but I'll go.
" Why is the most expensive train fully booked?", I wonder as I flipped through routes while I was looking for the $8 train ride. Yes. These days even $8 is way too expensive for me to spend on one way train. But, that's where the fun is. Think about crowded entitled people in one space think that they has more money than you while sitting in economy, the people who bring their entire family on their lifetime trip, and people with little consideration to other human being. To my elite self, those are friction and I'd much rather sit in an executive train, experiencing much less the same but with style. But hey, it's time for me to be slapped with some reality once again.
By doing connecting trains, be annoyed at people, and enjoying the frictions like the rest of normal people, somehow it was freeing.
In my wandering days I barely care about frictions and acted less like elites. I was feral and much like the other becoming selfish of space and their environment. It was only when I started "seeing" more money, I started developing the mindset, ' better than thou' where I avoided friction as much as possible. While I also like it, sometimes I also like the illusion of freedom gives me.
So, rather than seeing 3 connections as inconvenience, I am seeing it as an adventure. What's more freeing when you can actually live your life that way? Going as you please, without being constrained by things you don't care about.
In my first stop, I had my first coffee. It's just how I normally would do it before being in a place I barely care about. This was the buffer on the next reality I was about to enter and participate.
Today, I am tracing all that to remind myself that I am working on gaining more options for my life. I should no longer live like I have no options. I have "options" and I am going to work for more "options" in my life.
With this train, no fixed destination and time, let's see how far I can go and build. This time, with more responsible spontaneity.
