What has your day been like?

This is the economy rice dish from the food court here at Farley. This is a successful grocery supermarket chain that has expanded to many different types of food-related businesses here in Bintulu. Farley, around ten years ago, was just a normal supermarket. But then, this company has done a good job of expanding.

This plate of rice is around USD 2 or around MYR 9. So, there is usually a long queue for the rice here. I see everyone with their huge plates.

Then, after that wonderful meal, I went to the bakery here at Farley to check out some of the cakes.

Chocolate Mini Cream Cake and Brownie Chocolate Cheese Cone Cake

It is quite affordable at around RM 8.50 / USD 2 roughly. At other bakeries, for the same thing, the price is double.

Durian Tart

This is a one-of-a-kind tart you have to definitely try out here at Bintulu. I know that usually in the media, Durian is portrayed as a soft, smelly cheese. These are really good. If you love durian, it's going to be a ride to heaven. That heavenly taste. The cheese usually blends very well with the durian.

Taro Cheese Tart -

These are made from yam which is quite the delicacy.

Some other baked products like custard melon, coffee crumbles, sausage floss bun and many more. This bakery is quite popular. Lots of people come here to eat.

This is what is trending now.

Anything that has Kunafa inspired by Dubai. One of the hottest sellers. For me, I am not a fan of kunafa because it adds some sort of dryness. Usually, without the Kunafa inside, the cake tastes quite soft. Pistachio is also a type of flavour that is quite trendy here. You find Pistachio everything here in Sarawak.

These are some freshly baked cheese cakes that you can order at the chiller. These cakes have to be eaten chilled. I can see that the Tiramisu flavour is quite popular as most of it has been eaten already.
