Good Morning to my wonderful friends. After checking out of the hotel, I wanted to check out the newly opened Everrise Supermarket here in Bintulu.

This is a Sarawakian home-grown supermarket that is quite successful here, already bought by Grab from Singapore.

One of the things about this supermarket is that they have a lot of international items in stock.

The entrance.

This supermarket has the international standard, like what supermarkets usually are in other countries, such as Australia. One thing that makes a supermarket special in Sarawak is that people love heading to supermarkets as a hobby. There are so many supermarkets here that you can go from one supermarket to the next just next door. There is another supermarket like this nearby.

This particular Everise just opened a couple of months ago.

Food Around the World

The interior is like a warehouse design with high ceilings and fewer partitions. I think this method reduces the cost of maintenance. Fewer walls and ceilings, fewer things to look at. The high ceiling also creates a spacious area for the customers to be able to walk around and enjoy.

One thing about shopping here in Sarawak is that it is never crowded. So, you can enjoy your time in an air-conditioned environment.

These are delicious. The bakers usually spend a lot of time creating this masterpiece layer by layer.

The alcoholic section

Some of the chocolates that are quite special as they have motivational words that keep you motivated.

Lots of beverages to choose from. Which drink do you usually enjoy drinking?

This is one of my favourite section and it is the chocolate section of the supermarket. Delicious creations.
