First time Cooking Sisig
Hello everyone! It's me , back again with another blog to share!!
Well since I was bored today and then I remembered that my Tatay bought a frozen food which is a Virginia Sisig and my grandmother don't know how to cook it and it was so frozen(it was stock there for like 4-5 days already) I decided to cook it, p.s I actually have no idea how to cook a sisig😬
Anyways, my father told me to buy a noodles for our lunch and since he gave me extra money, I decided to buy an egg, green chili pepper, onion and calamansi(only spent 64 pesos bczz of the 4 noodles my father told me to buy and a spring onion my grandma told me).
When I got home, I immediately cooked the noodles first since it was almost 1 pm and my father is probably hungry.
When I finished cooking the noodles, I then prepared the cooking pan and the oil. Then I started slicing the spices then my father saw me and told me that I should crush the sisig since it was kind of frozen and was still in its form(like in the picture shown above).
After preparing the spices and the sisig, when the oil was heated, I then started putting the spices into the pan first and then after some seconds, I then placed the sisig. It actually smelled so good!! I was like so hungry when I smelled it.
When my father told me that I can now put the egg, I immediately crack it(I was so nervous because the eggshell might fall in when I crack it).
It didn't take long for the sisig to be cook. So I immediately transferred it to a small bowl and what's funny is that I almost forgot to squeeze the calamansi into the cooked sisig, it was a good thing that I took a picture of the sisig after cooking it lolz😭
And then TADAAAA! It's lunch time!! I would really give a big credits for tiktok btw, because I immediately search how to cook the virginia sisig and the ingredients(when in fact, my father knew how to cook it😓).
Thank you for reading!! See you in my next blogs!!🤍
