BRIGADA 2025
Hello everyone! This is
sharing my Brigada 2025 experience. Well, this won’t be a very long blog, but it won’t be short either HAHAHAHAHA lol!
June 6, 2025
On this day was our Brigada Eskwela. Actually, the announcement came suddenly. The original schedule for Grade 12’s Brigada Eskwela was supposed to be on June 11, but our two advisers decided to do it earlier. Honestly, I wasn’t prepared. I wasn’t even ready to go back to school yet lol HAHAHAHA.
Each time there's a Brigada, I always get stressed and anxious because it means the start of the new school year is approaching. Anyway, I woke up around 6 a.m. My friend Kresha, who will be my classmate again in Grade 12 (yay!) and I decided to go together. She passes by our barangay on her way to school, so I asked her to fetch me at the roadside.
We were supposed to meet at around 9:30 a.m. near my house, and I was already dressed at 8:53 a.m. I was wearing a black tube top with a sky blue cardigan (it was actually raining heavily) because sexy or revealing outfits are not accepted in school. At the lower part, I had on trouser black pants (they were so huge on me HAHAHAHA).
(Outfit check, I just took a bath HAHAHAHA)
By exactly 9:20 a.m., we were at school. It was peaceful as there were only few students were there, there were some teachers cleaning and checking papers, and a few students from the other section.
When we got there, we began cleaning right away. Our classroom was already cleaned beforehand (the call time was 8 a.m., but I came late due to the heavy rain), so we went downstairs and cleaned the lab (our class is on the 3rd floor, huhuhuhu😭😭).
Kresha and I purchased a rag outside and cleaned the dirty windows. We were done at around 10:05 a.m.
Our adviser instructed us to line up for attendance. It was a little messy because some of our Grade 11 classmates arrived, and we were being too dramatic and emotional because we won't be in the same section anymore HAHAHAHA.
Then it was our turn for the attendance. Kresha and I were giggling because our handwriting was awful, most likely because we hadn't used a pen all summer lol. We also messed up calculating out the time we arrived and the time we completed the Brigada 😬😬
Then, Jam Riel and I went to Winco because I was going to purchase fake nails. We just talked and joked around because we missed each other.
We walked to Winco (it's within walking distance from our school), and we even took a shortcut through the marketplace.
So when we arrived at Winco, we went directly to the fake nails section. There were plenty of designs, but none that I truly loved. I saw that the one I wanted was already sold out. So instead of getting fake nails, I purchased face powder since I had run out of it.
(Here's Jam Riel fooling around, acting like he was buying napkins lol 😭😭)
Because I couldn't purchase fake nails, I thought, "Why not shop for nail polish instead?" Jam agreed because he also wanted to just take his time walking around HAHAHAHA. We then proceeded to Prince, which is close to Winco.
We went through the nail polish department, it had that many options. I giggled because Jam was so dead serious about picking a color that could match my skin tone. We look like kids that time HAHAHAHA!!
After a few, we finally found the right color! I got one nail polish, one acetone, and one clear polish.
That was it, honestly. We thought we should head home because it was nearing lunchtime.
(Random photo: Jam Riel pointed at something and told me it was the same name as my cousin HAHAHAHAHA)
That's all everyone! See you in my next blogs!!🤍
