Bogota

Think of a rhyme for the word Bogota. That's right, height. The capital of Colombia is located at an altitude of 2640 meters above sea level. For some, this height is enough to feel the first signs of altitude sickness. Moreover, the city is surrounded by hills, which you also want to climb. We were lucky with the weather - it was sunny all four days, but in general it is usually cool and cloudy here: because of the altitude. During the day in January, the temperature was around +20 degrees, at night it dropped to +10.

In Bogota, we settled in the business part of the city, so we were surrounded by people in suits and skyscrapers, next to which the 17-story hotel seemed like a square dwarf. The first photo is the view from my room.

The trip to Colombia was my second tour led by Zhenya Zolotukhin (the first was Brazil). In his tours, Zhenya, among other things, tends to visit haunted places and disadvantaged areas, and they were found not far from downtown.
