You can't believe all legends, but in this case, the story turned out to be true, but not in the way Alan thought. I like how you set up the scene leading to the meeting with the old man, Robisky.

After a few minutes, the boys reached the river. The crystal-clear water flowed like wild horses across the plain, while their eyes sparkled at the sight of that beautiful landscape.

I think many of us have stories of such adventures. My friend and I got chased by an old guy once, and this brought back memories.

A white cloth draped across the doorway fluttered, then a black hand appeared, pushing the cloth aside. A disheveled figure emerged from the shadows, with a long black beard that seemed to hide his face; his clothes were tattered and full of holes, and his long, matted hair had gray strands that fell over his shoulders.

In the story, the old man turned out to be a social outcast because of his skin colour. Hopefully, the kids learned the lesson of tolerance and coexistence.

It was a pleasure to read your tale.
