Psychologists are always finding entertaining ways to mess with our minds and remind us that our reality is constructed by the interaction between our brain systems and external events. As an example, if you look closely at this image that I found at Science World, you will see red and orange spirals. They are actually the same colour- red. The addition of blue and yellow stripes causes the visual illusion because of the nature of our perceptual system, unless you're colour blind. To sum up, there are no orange spirals in this image. It's all red, cats, all red. 👀
