From Manila to Bulacan: Rediscovering the Commuter’s Journey on a Point-to-Point Bus Adventure
Hello Hive Fam, and most especially my ever-supportive Hive Friends all over the world! 💖 It’s always a joy to share my little adventures with you, and today I want to take you along on a ride that reminded me of the hustle and bustle of city life.
Yesterday, I had an errand in the National Capital Region. Stepping back into the commuter’s shoes felt both nostalgic and eye-opening.
Before heading home, I needed to board a bus. not just any bus, but a point-to-point bus. Unlike the usual crowded rides, this one required me to secure a ticket from the booth before stepping inside. Holding that ticket felt symbolic, like a passport back into the rhythm of city commuting.
The ride itself was a mix of familiar sights and new reflections. Watching the skyline fade as we left Manila reminded me of the countless journeys I used to take daily. Now, living in Bulacan, the contrast is striking, quieter surroundings, slower pace, yet the occasional trip back to the capital brings a rush of energy and memories.
Commuter life is more than just travel; it’s a shared experience. Strangers sitting side by side, each with their own destination, yet all bound together by the same ride. Yesterday reminded me that even in the routine of commuting, there’s a story worth telling.
As I’ve shared from my previous posts, I left Manila for good. However, there are few instances that I need to travel to NCR, just like last week and yesterday.
Thank you, Hive Fam, for joining me on this little journey. Whether you’re a daily commuter or someone who occasionally hops on a bus, I hope this story resonates with you. Until my next adventure, keep riding through life with positivity and gratitude!
