A First Stroll with Wednesday Walk: My Unexpected 15-Minute Journey Along EDSA, Elevators, Escalators, and the Path Back Home
Hello Hive fam! I’m so happy to finally share my very first post in this lovely Wednesday Walk Community. It feels exciting to join you all and contribute my little walking story today.
Earlier today, I went back to Manila to visit a sick friend. After my visit, before reaching my last bus station going home, I needed to walk along EDSA heading to the bus carousel station in Ortigas.
The walk took me about 15 minutes. But before I could reach the carousel station, I had to climb up to the MRT station to cross to the opposite side because that’s where the bus carousel going to Trinoma is located.
Since I was already tired from walking, I decided not to use the stairs. Instead, I patiently waited for the elevator to bring me up to the MRT station. Once I arrived, I continued walking towards Landmark Mall, where the escalator connects directly to the P2P bus station. That’s where I finally boarded the bus bound for my place in Bulacan.
It was a tiring but memorable walk; a mix of city hustle, elevators, escalators, and the determination to get home after a long day.
Thank you so much for reading my first Wednesday Walk story! I’m grateful to be part of this community and I look forward to sharing more walking adventures with you all. 💖
