Bow River Valley

Hello Hivers

Here are a few pics along the Bow River Valley, specifically the legacy trail between Canmore and Banff, Alberta, Canada.

There is a nice picnic section, situated along the highway with excellent views.

You can see the prevailing wind from the West rising above the mountain tops.

The trail connects two towns and is quite busy with mostly cyclists making the 20Km trip.

Don't let the cougar warning scare you, there are usually sightings all year long, travel in groups, and carry bear spray, and never try to get close for a picture.....
