Have A Self-Reflection Of Yourself

While growing up, I was embarrassed to tell people that I was born and raised in a village where we spent years without electricity.

Due to my parents' employment migration, I changed schools frequently, so I was always quiet when my classmates were discussing how nice and beautiful their parents' house looks.

Then, we were still living in a rented house. I was ashamed of myself, and the embarrassment spread unconsciously to me being ashamed of my background.
​
I'm sharing this because you need to have a self-reflection of yourself if such a thought has ever crossed your mind.
​
Be bold and tell everyone what you believe or what you stand for.
​
Fear of standing up for your beliefs indicates that you are ashamed to be associated with them.
​
Never should you be ashamed of your background; however, you should channel what you don't like about your family as motivation to be the changemaker your family has been waiting for.
​
Whatever you don't like about your background, make it the reason God purposefully placed you in that family.
​
You must also learn to accept yourself.
​
Accept your parents, and your background and work toward being the transformational agent in your family rather than crying over spilt milk.
​
Work on your self-esteem and envision yourself as the man or woman who will change your family's story.
​
Your parents might be traders or average workers; darling, love them and work on yourself to make them proud.
​
You are not sent to your family by mistake.
​
Joseph could have thought that he was sent to his family by mistake, but God proved that wrong by positioning him in Egypt; otherwise, his family would have died of hunger.
​
You are not a biological mistake.
​
You are not cheated by God.
​
There's a reason why you have been sent to that family.
​
Discover that purpose and make God proud.
