A not so funny thing happened on the way home from the grocery store yesterday.
Back up.
My 69th BD as you know was 12 days ago. I THOUGHT I had paid for a 5 yr license last time, but NOOOoooo, it was 4 yrs, so my drivers license expired on 8/9/2024, which I discovered when I tried to purchase some wine at the grocery store.
The machine turned me down because my license was expired, (I got the wine anyway) SOOOOO
I spent about an hour opening my old DDS (Dept of Drivers Services) account, but had to change the PW, only to find out I couldn't renew online.
I've not been to the license ofc in years, when I needed to I renewed online, so I was flummoxed.
The answer was really simple, you can't renew something that has expired.
I needed a new photo anyway

Then I had a scheduled CT scan at 10 am at the North Cobb VA Clinic

I traveled there from the Drivers License facility, had PLENTY of time, was on my way home by 10:05
I then went to my Chiropractor Dr Ararat Mushegan Leguizaman

Which is right next door to my favorite Waffle House, very convenient since I was starving... can't eat before a CT scan don't you know.
I pigged out, came home and fell into a food coma, I'd only gotten just over 5 hrs sleep last night.
So in effect, I am just now starting my day.
And it was a beautiful day to waste sleeping, but I needed it.
I'm gonna go try and help the new neighbor, Lori

So that was my morning and the day so far.
