I fell in love with this young girl who somehow stole my heart
I'm 29 and she's 21, oh how big of a gap

She's fun and exciting and full of life whereas I'm always busy at work with my surgical knife

I can feel the age difference when we're having conversations about life, work, sex and the future generations

I have a degree in science
And I work at a hospital
Whereas she just started to pursue her career to be an optician

After I get off work I just wanna go to sleep but when she's done with work she just wanna play in the sheets

I love that we're different in every single way cuz when I'm with her all my worries go away

She's like the straw to my Berry and the paper to my pen
For without her in my life I'd be a tree without a stem

I love the way she looks at me and feel that she's so safe
I love the way she squeezes me tight every time that we embrace

I wanna watch her grow from a young spring chicken to a full grown mother hen
For in a few years time I'll be tucking our kids to bed

The way she wraps her arms around me and listens to my heart
The way I kiss her on the lips and tear that dress apart

She likes dancing to pop music in her flip flops and I like house music and hip hop

We fuss and fight all day all night
But at the end of the day she's still my wife

She's young I'm old, but does it really matter
When it comes down to age difference, the love is all that matters
