A day trip to Turku

I'm in a train on my way to Turku. Its' really hard to concentrate as I'm in the pet wagon where people from other wagons think it's a good thing to take your child to see the pets without asking if it's okay by the pet owners and the dog next to me doesn't seem to like children and is barking and I'm listening a book called Putin's Trolls by Jessikka Aro. And f course taking photos and writing this.

Multitasking. Or as we Finns might say it, only changing one letter, multipasking, which means multishitting things. By doing multiple things at the same time, nothing is done well.

The longer name of the book is "Putin's Trolls: On the Frontlines of Russia's Information War Against the World" and I have to say that although I knew about Putin's troll factories, the details of all the cases Jessikka Aro, a journalist, has found out about information war and the way things are done in Russia are just chilling. Just like Jessikka Aro at one point states, it's really mind baffling that even people who are thought to be rational, can read and find out about things on their own, are so easily lured in to the web of lies and falce claims the putinists, professional propagandists and the troll factories spread.

Useful idiots.

I'm stuck in a little town called Toijala because of another train. What a wonderful view. I guess it's time for an art photo.

I guess my art photo was so bad that the train decided to continue. Only an hour late.

I'm going to help a friend to build a simple Web page for her company. I'm hoping she will be satisfied for some wysiwyg bloglike page that can easily look like a professional small company page since I think there's not need for a coded page that would normally be like a 500 to 1000 euros job if she would turn to a professional.

My opinion was that as her company is small and the kind that would do just fine with Instagram or Facebook pages, it would have been wise to wait for a bit and think longer what she really needs, but she's eager and of course wants to get everything right away.

I will lure her to do things as simply as possible. Weebly, wordpress, good choices. She already has her fi-address. Time to make some content there.

The train in in Loimaa now so about half an hour from Turku. Perhaps I'll manage to write the second part of this trip on my way back, tomorrow or this weekend, but don't start trolling me if there's a few day delay or if I completely forget to do it.
