This Void Hunter's so awesome it crashed the internet!

Remielle Dan is our newest Void Hunter for Zenless Zone Zero. Based on what was said in the livestream and the sheer number of animated attacks she has, I have to believe she's also the most powerful in the game so far.

In terms of using her, she's much more elusive than most Void Hunters. You start off charging up her bar and then when it's full you hold down the skill button which will cause her to fly off. You can then switch over to your other characters and work on triggering their Anomaly effects. It's of course best then if both of those other characters are Anomaly Agents who can trigger their Anomalies quickest. Once 3 of them have been triggered, switch back to Remielle and she does another massive attack to come back on-field. Now hold attack and she'll do another animation where she does yet another massive attack. And we haven't even gotten to her go-between switch attack and her ultimate attack. On top of that, Anomaly Agents are the game's most damaging characters anyway so she's pretty much overkill on most enemies.

The devs needed a way to top last year's Yixuan and I think they've done it. Remielle has 4 animated attacks compared to Yixuan's 2 and since she's off the field for a large stretch of time, she's not prone to taking hits which is a small step up to Yixuan's ability to counter hits and dodge them with certain attacks.

Next up, the anniversary. Right off of signing in we're getting a free character and some of them, Lucia, Jane and Trigger are some of the best characters in the game. We also get one of their weapons for free too! That is insane on its own. Many of course chose Lucia and her own weapon because she's the game's only good Rupture Agent Support so she's a must have for anyone who didn't already have her. (like me) Yixuan btw is a Rupture Agent. And after that, we also got another 10 gacha pulls worth of resources right off the bat and some cute mementos for the celebration. And if that wasn't enough, three previously limited characters were added to the limited banner loss list. The banners have a 50/50 system where you might not get the character you were going for and instead you get one from a list of previously just Standard Banner characters. Now you can also potentially get one of 3 limited characters making it a little less annoying to lose a 50/50.

Three old characters have also been buffed including the already powerful Jane. Personally I don't think these buffs will make these old characters any more useful than they were beforehand but they still played pretty well.

This year's belated anniversary definitely feels worth the wait.... And because of all of this, players flooded the game upon update and the servers were just not handling it well. PC and console suffered the least of course but me being a mobile player, it took me a very long time to get through recording everything because it just kept lagging. My device also crashed twice, restarted once and failed to log in for over an hour following the first crash. I have a feeling this game no longer just serves 4 million players. miHoYo may want to take a look at it and maybe upgrade or increase their number of servers to meet the new demand. The surge in revenue would be more than worth it I think.
