Cryo is making a comeback again?

Probably not. Cryo still seems to get the shortest end of the stick. The new mechanic is limited by an AoE circle and only works with the Superconduct reaction which was terrible back then.

Sandrone does benefit from having her big laser attack but it's not quite as good as Neuvillette's. Citlali is only really good if you pair her with a powerful Pyro Character like Mavuika where Citlali can buff her damage. Diona is something like Citlali-lite where she also has a shield and can apply the Cryo too but nowhere near as good. She does have the added ability to heal though that Citlali doesn't have. Finally Freminet is awful. And by extension so is Beidou.

I have a feeling that just like last year, this new mechanic is just dipping out toes into it. By the time the Tsaritsa releases early next year, we'll have something much more useful. Still, just like last year with Ineffa I went for her. Might as well have fun with the new mechanic while we wait.
