Leather journal is something I didn't think I needed
I started having journals 3 years ago. One of them was a bullet journal that acts like a planner, habit tracker, and random note-taking pages. I also have other notebooks that have different purposes such as thoughts-journaling, random ideas for specific interests, reading journal, etc. At some point it became hard to keep up with them because they are all separated and in different places. I would often forget where they are or they even exist.
Then I found out about folios and specifically leather folios like this one.
This is a vegetable-tanned leather. I think this might be cowhide but I'm not very sure hihi. Since learning about leathers (not faux leathers), I have come to appreciate how awesome they are since they last long and very durable.
So this is what I was talking about... Inside there are multiple compartments and those strings that hold the notebooks. NOTEBOOKS. A lot of them in one place. That means I can put a lot of my different journals here and I can carry them all at once.
And since it's leather, it can last a freakin long time!
Here you can see the amount of compartments it has. It has 6 strings which can fit 6 journals (or more if you're creative enough) and a pen holder.
Here is how my leather journal is looking. :3
Here on the right you can see my 2026 journal, the one @acidyo got for me from Japan. I removed its own folio and just decorated the cover with stickers because it was just plain white.
I also have bookmarks, stickers, and notepads on the left.
Then I also have the other planner here that I use mainly for content. This is also what Acid bought from Japan and I just decorated it so I don't get confused.
Then I got other notebooks as well. One is a manifestation journal, one is a content ideas and scripts/screenplay notebook, and the other would probably for my random thoughts that has no specific place to write on to.
Then at the back are some papers for whatever purpose and some more sticky notes.
This is also a trifold folio and the flap on the right side is wide, so even if I have thick notebooks inside, it will still be able to close properly and not bulge weirdly. The thing with leather also is that it can stretch and adjust in time, so it will be fine.
Look at how thick it is now lol. I have occupied 5 out of 6 notebook slots and 2 of them were kinda thick. They don't close awkwardly and still look perfect.
And I can also decorate it with charms and crystals and such. Honestly this feels like a bag for journals, and I love bags! XD
